About the Author

Hello there!
I’m Lukas and I’m the author of this site.

I have been working in the Animation, Visual Effects, and most recently Games industry for about a decade and made my way through the big studio circus for a long time. I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working at companies like Weta Digital, Industrial Light & Magic, Framestore, MPC and others.

Throughout that time I was part of the Oscar-winning teams for Martin Scorsese’s “Hugo” as well as Disney’s “The Jungle Book” and several oscar nominated films like “War for the Planet of the Apes” and “Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame”.

In my spare time, I was trying to find a way to combine my passion for my work with other creative outlets and since I really enjoy writing, a Blog style site offered itself up.
